Our location on the Red Hook waterfront is a great place to gather the crew! If you’re looking to secure space for your group, we accept reservations of up to 50 people and offer two options depending on the number of guests.

Table fee $25-$50

Reserve 1 to 3 beer hall tables for 3 hours. Each table seats 6-8 people.

Please note: All reservations are for indoor tables only. We do not accept outdoor table reservations.

Reservations can be booked up to 30 days in advance. A fee per table is due at the time of booking; fee ranges depending on the day of the week. There’s no drink minimum and your group can start multiple tabs. If you need to cancel, the reservation fee is refundable up to 5 days in advance.

DRINK MINIMUM

For larger groups, reserve a roped-off section with standing room capacity up to 50 people. Includes 4 beer hall tables with benches (seat 6-8 people per table). You’ll get waterfront views with a door out to the patio, plus one reserved picnic table right outside (weather permitting)!

  • Site fee of $100-$600 depending on the day of the week

  • Drink minimum during your party and a 20% automatic gratuity

  • 3-hour reservation, plus 30 minutes prior for setup

Large group reservations can be booked up to 90 days in advance. The site fee is due at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, the deposit is refundable up to 30 days in advance.

FAQs

  • For parties of 50 or more guests, we have Private Party options! Learn more at our Private Parties page.

  • We are a family-friendly establishment and children are welcome! We have a few rules to create a safe and welcoming space for all customers:

    • An adult must accompany children at all times as working breweries can present many dangers to unsupervised little ones.

    • Absolutely no running is allowed on Strong Rope Brewery property.

    • Only guests 21 and over with a valid, legal ID will be served alcohol.

    Please note: As a space that caters to adults, we are unable to host children’s parties.

  • Reservations are indoor only; our outdoor tables are all first come, first serve with the exception of large reservations and private events.

  • Walk-ins are always welcome! See our Events Calendar to check your date for any potential closures or events.

  • During your 3-hour reservation, your group will be expected to hit the drink minimum by ordering drinks at the bar.

    We’ll need one credit card provided at the beginning of your reservation for the party tab. At the end of the reservation, you’re welcome to split the tab across multiple cards. If the bar minimum isn’t met at the end of the reservation, the remaining balance will be added to the tab before checkout. Finally, a 20% automatic gratuity will be applied to the total tab.

    Only beverages purchased from Strong Rope for consumption on-premise count toward the drink minimum.

  • We don’t have a kitchen in-house, so outside food is always welcome!

    Please note that we do not stock plates/utensils/etc. at our taprooms; plan accordingly if you BYO food. Please take leftover food with you or dispose of anything you bring in.

    Our staff is happy to provide local takeout recommendations! You can also see which pop-up food vendors we’ll have at the taproom on our Events Calendar.

  • Celebrating a special occasion? Minimal decorations are welcome — we just have a few rules!

    • Tabletop decorations like flowers, flameless candles, linens are all OK ✅

    • Balloons, wall banners, confetti, glitter, and the like are not allowed 🚫

    • Walkways must be clear and nothing can be attached to the walls 🚩

    • Candles for a birthday cake are OK 🎂

  • We offer bar service only.

  • We do not have on-site parking.

    We encourage guests to use public transportation (the ferry and bus both serve Red Hook), bike-share services, or ride-share services to get to the taproom. If you do drive, street parking is available and please pay attention to all posted signs. The lot at 175 Van Dyke Street is not for Strong Rope customers.
