So, by now, we don’t need to tell any of you that New York City is an official craft beer town. Four years ago when we held the 1st Annual Borough Beer Fest, each participating brewery was able to pour two beers (with lines to spare). This year, we have a full lineup with one beer each from the twenty-eight local breweries that call NYC home. From Brooklyn’s OG, Brooklyn Brewery, to Brooklyn newest-G, KCBC, this year’s Borough Beer Fest is as diverse and exciting as the city itself.
It's fitting that this year's Borough Beer Fest is one day after Valentine's Day, because it has quickly become one of our most beloved events of the year. We particularly swoon over this event because we get to celebrate the vibrant NYC craft beer scene with the people we love who make up this amazing community -- and also because, well, we get to drink some of the best beer being made anywhere.
Our Maize Runner Cream Ale will be on tap:
Style: Cream Ale
Name: Maize Runner
Description: Made with malted corn from NY, Maize Runner is a big cream ale with an underlying grainy sweetness.
So, come out this Wednesday beginning at 3:00pm and raise a glass of and with NYC’s finest. We hope you'll agree it's better than flowers or chocolates.
