Come to our fall festival!  Over the course of 3 autumn days, we will serve over 50 firkins of Real Ale and Cider, comprised of approximately half British beers and ciders from England, Scotland, and Wales; and half American beers, ciders, and meads mostly from New England. All are cask-conditioned, served by gravity or hand-pump. We may also offer private Tutored Tastings during the festival. NERAX North takes place in Salem, MA, just half a mile from the train station!

The New York City Brewers Guild and New York State Brewers Association present the 1st ever NYCBrewed Fall Crawl. We'll be crawling through four breweries in Long Island City: Rockaway Brewing, Fifth Hammer, Big aLICe and LIC Beer Project. Turn your ticket in for a wristband at whichever brewery you choose to be your first of the evening. The wristband entitles you to a taster-size beer pour and access to a "Meet your Local Brewer" area at each brewery, where you will sample beers from other New York City breweries as well as get to chat with brewers and brewery representatives.

If you're new to Bats & Brews, then you should know it's an event like no other: part lecture, part craft beer festival, part benefit and part dance party! It's an event that started as a lecture series and over the years has grown into Seatuck's primary annual fundraiser. Bats & Brews features a presentation about bats (for those who are interested), craft beer from the best breweries on Long Island, great beer-themed food and awesome live music. There's even a horseshoe pit for those who want to enjoy a little friendly competition! And it's all in the setting of the one-of-a-kind historic Scully Mansion - the perfect place for a Halloween party!

Gowanus Open Studios, aka GOS, is a free annual weekend event that takes place in October. Artists in the Gowanus neighborhood (and slightly beyond) open their studio doors and welcome the public to view art, meet the artists, learn about the process of art-making, and get a glimpse of the life of artists. Join us in the taproom as we release 2 new Rye beers as part of NYC's first ever New York Rye Week to celebrate the development of the Empire Whiskey category (something to designate whiskey by its origin and style, much like Bourbon): Rye So Serious, Rye Belgian Strong Ale featuring Tiny Field Farm hops and Holy Ink, Stout aged Breuckelen Distilling rye whiskey barrels. In addition we're also showcasing NYC's newest brewery, 5th Hammer Brewing's By the Brick, Amber Rye Ale.

In addition, the Greenmarket Grainstand will be selling regionally produced whole grains and flours.

Strong Rope will be donating 100% of the proceeds of several beers - including some great guest beers - to Muddy Paws Rescue NYC! Muddy Paws most recently rescued over 100 dogs from shelters affected by Hurricane Harvey - they are an amazing organization and we're excited to support them!
